A stopover in Abu Dhabi
Not long till we start pedalling… but first some time out in the United Arab Emirates to visit family and some ‘last minute training’…. Having visited the impressive Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque when we were here last year we spent an afternoon walking the halls of the Qasr al Watan (presidential palace) blue, gold and white throughout…simply stunning. The rest of our days were spent getting to know grandson Xavier, relaxing (and eating) with family and friends, in the gym, swimming and the fun part - zooming the streets on electric scooters…the only way to get around in 39+ degrees!
